Here at Overdale Infant School we are able to refer families to the Leicester South Foodbank and issue vouchers and food parcels should families need essential items.
We are aware the current economic circumstances have made finances tight for many families. If you should need any assistance please do not hesitate to contact us. We keep some emergency foodbank parcels in school so when we issue a voucher we are able to provide you with food immediately.
We will of course ensure any request for support is treated in the strictest of confidence. Please contact Paula Coplin (Deputy Headteacher) or Kathryn Preston (Pastoral Lead) via email on support@overdale-inf.leicester.sch.uk or come into school to speak to someone.
If you are not experiencing financial difficulties and would like to help support the foodbank by donating items, we have a collection point in our main reception. The foodbank welcome donations of long-life foods including tins, boxes and packet foods.
